Information on accessibility
The “Revierpark Nienhausen” can be reached by tram line 107. The tram stop “Revierpark Nienhausen” is located about 200 metres from the park entrance. 6 disabled parking spaces are located in the direct vicinity of the entrance area. Please find a tactile park overview map near the main entrance. You will find it, if you follow the pathway from the large "R" into the park.
Coming from the tram, the first thing you will reach is the Health Park (Gesundheitspark), which offers a variety of facilities, including a saltwater pool, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool, as well as fitness and rehabilitation sports facilities. There is also a restaurant connected the Health Park. Further along Feldmarkstraße, approximately 350 meters away, you will find another restaurant near the “Kinderburg”, a large playground with additional attractions for children.
The main pathways in the “Revierpark Nienhausen” are predominantly paved, made of asphalt or a water-bound surface, which is easy to walk on and roll over. The main pathways are easy to recognise. There are only minimal inclines, with the exception of the access to the gastronomic facilities at the “Kinderburg”, which has a steeper incline.
The centrally located fairground hosts various events throughout the year. In the remaining times, the lawn is available to visitors for picnics and other leisure activities. Above the Health Park you will find various play areas, leisure facilities, as well as health and sports offerings.
The park overview board is the starting point of the “nature loop”, an educational trail focussing on the topics of bees, biodiversity and water. (Please note: this site is still under construction. Detailed information on accessibility can only be provided at a later point of time!)
Assistance dogs are welcome in the park. Due to the complex pathways, visually impaired guests are recommended to visit the park with a sighted companion.
Have fun and enjoy a relaxing time in “Revierpark Nienhausen”!
