The Wischlingen Recreational Park in Dortmund, known as “Revierpark Wischlingen”, covers an area of 39 hectares, which is the size of about 55 soccer fields.
To ensure a comfortable visit, here is some helpful information on accessibility for you:
Information on accessibility
You can get there by bus line 447 and 465 to the "Revierpark" bus stop, which is located near the “Solebad”. You can also take bus line 461 to the "Huckarde Bezirksfriedhof" bus stop. Both bus stops are about 50 meters away from the entrance area of the “Revierpark Wischlingen”.
There are several disabled parking spaces available near the park entrance at the health centre, salt water bath and the ice rink.
Please find a tactile park overview map to the left of the ice rink. The park area extends northwest from the park entrance at the large “R” next to the ice rink.
There are several attractions for both children and adults within the park.
From adventure golf to a water playground, “Revierpark Wischlingen” offers a wide variety of leisure activities to its visitors.
The park is mostly designed without significant inclines. The main pathways have both a tactile and an optical contrast to the edge of the vegetation. The pathways are mainly paved or made of water-bound surfaces.
The “nature loop” leads you through the “Revierpark Wischlingen” and starts behind the ice rink.
On this nature trail you will experience the park from different perspectives. Discover the habitats of various plants and animals at 10 stations. The pathways of this educational trail are made of water-bound surface.
The "Revierstrand" with its gastronomic offer is located in the centre of the park. The slope of the pathway to the “Revierstrand” restaurant is 8.5%.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the park. Due to the complex pathways, we recommend blind guests to visit the park with a sighted companion.
